Prosecution action by Income Tax Department in black money cases has shot up three times with the department filing 570 charge sheets till January in this matter.
The department also directed its field officers to not spare the cases of serious irregularities in deposits made after demonetisation and file court cases in these matters as well.
Under IT Laws conviction in the black money and tax evasion cases will attract a strict punishment including imprisonment and fine.
